There are so many LSSGB classes out in the wild, how do you choose? As industrial engineers, you have all taken the courses needed for the LSSGB certification, but perhaps didn’t feel the need for spending (more) money on a certification which does not indicate a standardization of competency level. This system has evolved to a “check the box” system. Hiring managers no longer can “trust” what level of competency they receive when a person shows up with a LSSGB Certificate.
IISE Los Angeles / Orange County is hoping to modify that perception by returning to the concepts put forth by Motorola and later GE who first wrote designed the Lean Six Sigma program.
Come and join us [Eventbrite Link].
What is expected of participants:
Before you come to the seminar, you will be sent a link with downloadable course materials. You are expected to have these loaded onto your computer, as these will be referenced and used during the seminar. You are also expected to have loaded MS Excel (at least version 2010).
You are also expected to have a rudimentary understanding of probability, statistics, SPC and Lean. These should have been covered in your undergraduate program.
Summary: Each participant is expected to bring
