STEM is certainly evolving to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) and this film will further advance it. Take part in these changes.
Have you planned your involvement this engineering week to promote engineering to students? Your work, community and/or neighboring schools have various involvement opportunities. If you are undecided on how/where to volunteer, try exploring one of the many resource sites like: DiscoverE.
One of the many events by DiscoverE is the film showing of Dream Big in 3D at the California Science Center, Los Angeles, which opens on February 17.

IISE LA-OC chapter will set up a table during the mini engineering fair at the CSC on February 25 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
How do I volunteer?
· Pick the timeframe you wish to attend:
10:00 – 11:00 a.m. (plus set up)
1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
4:00 – 5:00 p.m. (plus wrap up)
· Email your response to firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and timeframe
· Bring an old laptop, if available; This will be used to allow kids to play an ISE video games.
· Engage students on engineering through ISE game or Q&A
If you wish to just watch the movie, relax and checkout the showtimes. Watch it with your kids or mentees if you like.
